The TERASIC Cyclone® III PCI-X development board provides a hardware platform for developing and prototyping low-power, high-performance, logic-intensive PCI-based designs. The board has a high-density of the external memory to facilitate the design and development of FPGA designs which need huge storage capacity and high bandwidth memory. It also includes Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) interface of the High-Speed Terasic Connectors (HSTCs) for extra high-speed interface application. To simplify the design process, we provide the software PCI System Builder that supplies a convenient way to build interfaces between host PC and user logic on FPGA, and also contains the interface of multi-port memory controller which allows shared access to a unique external memory.
